edstudios planned and executed a film production for CPC Healthcare Communications. We produced their corporate film using a Sony Fs7, A7rii + CineLenses, and lit with an ARRI SkyPanel. Editing & Motion Graphics for the promotional film were completed with After Effects & Davinci.
A rugged action-movie voice-over begins as various video footage of Toronto and business life is shown. The voice says, “On the cutthroat streets of Toronto, only one healthcare agency has what it takes to be the top gun and rise into the danger zone.” The sound of a record scratching cuts the voice and action music short, and a new voice-over begins, “Cut! No, no, stop! That’s not us.” The video footage shows the CPC Healthcare Communications agency’s office space and employees doing various work-related tasks. “So who are we really? We’re CPC Healthcare. We are really located in downtown Toronto but we’re also a group of everyday, down-to-earth people who love selling drugs…wait that didn’t come out right…We’re 100% focused on healthcare. We can talk about rare diseases like Echinococcosis over lunch without batting an eye. Seriously, look it up. For over twenty years, we’ve been working with some of Canada’s leading pharmaceutical companies. We’re part of Bloc Partners, the strongest global alliance of creative healthcare agencies. But remain independently owned, meaning we work for you, not a global headquarters bottom line. We like to speak frankly and honestly, and try to avoid meaningless agency buzzwords like synergy, ideation and circle-back. This is our in-house, award-winning creative team.
